In a tragic turn of events,the city of Zaporizhzhia,ukraine,was struck by a devastating attack on January 8,2025,resulting in the loss of 13 lives and leaving 32 others injured. among the wounded is a 13-year-old girl, who is currently receiving medical care in moderate condition.

Emergency response teams, including seven medical units, police officers, and rescue personnel, were quickly deployed to the scene to provide immediate assistance and assess the extent of the damage. The attack targeted the city’s industrial infrastructure, causing widespread destruction.

According to the Zaporizhia Oblast State Police, the assault occurred at 3:40 p.m. on January 8,2025. Russian forces reportedly used two guided aerial bombs, identified as FAB-500 wiht UMPC, in what appears to be a deliberate attack on the city.
