**Erik Van Looy:** The ankle is sore,that’s without a doubt. Thankfully, the Red Cross was on hand and they confirmed it’s a sprain. No fractures, which is a relief. I’m resting up and following the doctor’s advice.

**erik Van Looy:** I’m determined not to let it sideline me completely, but I might have to walk the sidelines a little more metaphorically for a while until I’m fully recovered

**Erik van Looy:** *(chuckles)* Well, it wasn’t exactly a highlight reel moment, I can tell you that. “Masters of Madness” involves a lot of, well, madness! We were filming a notably dynamic challenge and, let’s just say my footing wasn’t quite what it needed to be. It happened so fast, but one minute I was fine, and the next I was looking up at the sky.
**Archyde:** Ouch! We saw the photos and video you posted on social media. It looked pretty serious.
**Erik van Looy:** It was definitely more frightening than painful at first. I thought for sure I’d broken something, but thankfully it’s just a sprain. Still, I wouldn’t reccommend testing your ankles on our set!
**Archyde:** How’s the recovery going? Will this affect your work on the show?
**Erik van Looy:** I’m on the mend! Rest, ice, elevation – you know the drill. The show’s producers and the medical team have been incredible. I’ll be back on set as soon as my doctor gives me the green light.
