Tyson Foods plant Explosion Victim Identified
Authorities have identified the victim of the deadly explosion at the Tyson Foods plant in Camilla, Georgia as 61-year-old Bajarma Batozhatov from Las Vegas, Nevada. Deputy Coroner Robbie Willis confirmed that Batozhatov died as a result of the explosion. Heavy machinery was required to recover her body after a wall collapsed on top of her. Contrary to speculation circulating online, Ms. Batozhatov was not a truck driver. her husband, Tcyden Batozhatov, is a truck driver and was inside the Tyson plant at the time of the explosion. Ms.Batozhatov was a passenger in her husband’s semi-truck and was asleep in the sleeper berth. Tcyden Batozhatov was aware his wife was in the truck but was outside the building with law enforcement officials following the explosion. He was unsure if his wife had survived the blast. Camilla Fire Chief Jamie sullivan stated that crews used heavy equipment to remove the wall and recover Batozhatov’s body. **Tcyden Batozhatov:** Bajarma was a kind, loving woman. she had a big heart and always put others before herself. She was a fantastic wife and I will miss her terribly.
**Archyde:** Bajarma was visiting you at the tyson plant when the explosion occurred.
**Tcyden Batozhatov:** Yes, she had come to Camilla to spend some time with me.
**Archyde:** authorities have confirmed Bajarma’s death was a result of the explosion. She was trapped by a collapsed wall, and recovery efforts required heavy machinery. Can youyard you describe the moment you realised what happened?
**Tcyden Batozhatov:** (pauses, visibly emotional) It was chaotic… dust everywhere, noise, people screaming. I knew something terrible had happened. I started looking for Bajarma, calling her name, but…
