Healthcare also emerged as a significant concern, with respondents highlighting challenges in accessing primary care. “The⁢ real issue is the relationship with GPs who no longer ⁢act as a filter, who give appointments after weeks, forcing‌ people to go to‌ emergency rooms to get answers,” toigo added. Luca Zaia, president of Veneto, acknowledged the survey’s importance, stating, ⁢“This survey is a useful working tool and a social representation⁢ which must be taken into account in such a particular moment on a social level.” He recognized the concerns surrounding employment, especially in the manufacturing‌ sector, and emphasized the region’s ongoing attention to these issues.

Can you elaborate on what specific concerns emerged regarding these two critical areas?

**Roberto Toigo:** Absolutely.

The survey, with over 16,000 participants,

painted a clear picture of the anxieties Venetians are facing.

Regarding work, many individuals, particularly adults, expressed worries about job security due to stagnant incomes and rising costs of living.

the manufacturing sector,a key driver of Veneto’s economy, has been hit hard in recent times, leaving many workers feeling insecure.

Healthcare is another major concern. People are voicing frustrations about the accessibility of primary care.Long wait times for appointments with general practitioners are forcing many to seek help in overcrowded emergency rooms, which strains the system and creates further delays.

**Host:** You mentioned regional variations in priorities. Can you shed some light on specific concerns from different regions like Rovigo and Belluno?

**roberto Toigo:**

Yes, there were some interesting regional patterns.

In Rovigo, the focus on work was even more pronounced, with nearly 60% of respondents prioritizing it. this highlights the region’s strong dependence on employment, particularly in

**Roberto Toigo:** The voices of Venetians have been heard loud and clear.

We’re working tirelessly to advocate for their needs. We are pushing for policies that promote job stability, fair wages, and retraining programs to equip workers with skills for the future.
