On Christmas Eve, General Sigit, along with other government officials including Coordinating Minister for Political and security Affairs Budi Gunawan and Coordinating Minister for Human Development and Culture Pratikno, visited several churches across Indonesia to ensure security during the Christmas celebrations. “We, together with the TNI and also supported by relevant stakeholders, including community organizations who have continued to synergize with us, are jointly carrying out security activities for christmas worship, both tonight and other worship activities until the end of the year,” General Sigit stated during his visit to the Cathedral Church in jakarta. The National Police Chief assured the public that security measures were in place since morning, with a focus on ensuring the safety and peace of mind of all worshippers.
