**archyde:** Nicholas, thank you for taking the time to speak with us. You recently revealed a rather unique keepsake from the set of *Nosferatu* – a prosthetic penis belonging to your co-star, Bill Skarsgård. Could you tell us a little about the context of this unusual gift?
**Nicholas Hoult:** [Laughter] Well, it was a parting gift from Robert Eggers, our director. I think it was meant to be a bit of a humorous memento of the intense experience we all shared on set.
**Archyde:** And where exactly is this… memento… residing these days?
**Nicholas Hoult:** Its actually framed and hanging up at home.
**Archyde:** That’s certainly one way to remember your time working on *nosferatu*! What do you think this says about the atmosphere and camaraderie on set?
**Nicholas Hoult:** I think it shows the unique bond that can form between cast and crew during a demanding project like this. There’s a lot of pressure and intensity on set, but there’s also a lot of laughter and absurdity.
**Archyde:** Do you think this kind of camaraderie is essential to creating a accomplished horror film? What role do you think humor plays in this genre?
**Nicholas Hoult:** I think it’s definitely notable. Horror can be a very intense genre, and having moments of levity can definitely help to create a balance and prevent things from becoming too overwhelming.
**Archyde:** *Nosferatu* is a highly anticipated reimagining of a classic. Do you think this unconventional memento hints at the unique tone and viewpoint audiences can expect from the film?
**Nicholas Hoult:** I certainly hope so. Robert Eggers is a visionary director, and I think he’s brought something truly special to this story.

**Archyde:** This certainly isn’t your average souvenir from a film set. What was your initial reaction when Robert presented you with this… unique gift?
**Nicholas hoult:** To be honest,I was quite surprised! it was definitely unexpected,but also undeniably funny. Robert has a way of creating a sense of camaraderie and dark humor on his sets, and this gift was definitely in line with that.
**Archyde:** You mentioned the “intense experience.” *Nosferatu* is a reimagining of a classic horror film with a reputation for being dark and atmospheric. Did this gift maybe serve as a way to lighten the mood after filming such intense scenes?
**Nicholas Hoult:**
Absolutely. Filming *nosferatu* was both demanding and exhilarating. The subject matter is inherently dark, and Robert pushes his actors to go to emotionally challenging places. So, having a bit of levity and absurdity thrown into the mix, even in the form of a prosthetic body part, helped keep things balanced.
**Archyde:** You mentioned you have it framed at home. Do you find yourself explaining the origins of this unusual piece of art to visitors frequently enough?
**Nicholas Hoult:** [Laughs] Oh, definitely. It’s definitely a conversation starter, to say the least. Guests are always intrigued and amused by the story.
**Archyde:** *Nosferatu* is highly anticipated, and you’ve certainly added another level of intrigue around the film with this story. What can you tell us about the upcoming release and what audiences can expect?
**Nicholas Hoult:**
I can’t reveal too much without spoiling the scares, but fans of the original and Robert Eggers’ work are in for a treat. It’s a chilling and visually stunning reimagining that dives deep into the dark heart of the Dracula myth.
