Bátovská Fialková: Thank you! Motherhood has certainly changed my perspective. It’s given me a new level of motivation and purpose. Balancing training with caring for Romana is challenging, but seeing her face makes all the effort worthwhile. I think it’s made me stronger mentally and more focused.
Archyde: You had a strong showing in all three races in Annecy,steadily improving with each one. Was there a particular turning point in the competition where you felt like things were really clicking?
Bátovská Fialková: I definitely felt more confident with each race. The pursuit was key. Starting further back after the sprint allowed me to focus on my own pace and strategy. I found a rhythm and was able to make up ground. It was a real confidence booster going into the mass start.
Archyde: This podium finish is your tenth career World Cup podium and your first as a mother. What message do you hope this sends to other athletes who are considering parenthood?
Bátovská Fialková: I hope it shows that anything is possible. Motherhood doesn’t have to mean the end of your athletic dreams.It’s about finding balance and support.It’s certainly not always easy, but the rewards are immeasurable.

Bátovská Fialková: I want to build on this momentum and continue to perform at my best. I’m taking things one race at a time, enjoying the journey, and making the most of every opportunity.
