Lisa Cannon Embraces First Christmas as a Mom
TV presenter Lisa Cannon is eagerly anticipating her first Christmas as a mother to her daughter, Seren. The 45-year-old and her husband, Richard Keatley, are making preparations for a joyous and unforgettable holiday season.
Cannon, who surprised fans with the news of Seren’s arrival in Febuary, shared that this Christmas is extra special as it’s their first as a family of three. She expressed immense gratitude for seren’s presence, calling her “the light of our lives.”
Cannon revealed that her dad will be joining them for Christmas Day festivities and that Seren, now 11 months old and crawling, is sure to bring her share of joyful chaos. “Christmas this year will be joyous, serendipitous, emotional, incredibly special and wonderfully happy. I’m so grateful to have my beautiful daughter celebrating Christmas in our home surrounded by friends and family.” she told RSVP. “Seren is the light of our lives. She makes us smile everyday
Cannon continued: ‘”It’s very special this year. We will cherish it in all its forms, take a ton of photos of dad and Seren together as he adores her and enjoy the newness of it all.’ Adding, ‘I genuinely don’t want anything this year, I got everything I ever wanted and more.'”
For Cannon and her husband, this Christmas marks the culmination of a long-held dream to become parents.The couple was overjoyed to share the news of Seren’s arrival on Valentine’s Day.

**Lisa, this is such a special time of year, especially for new parents. How are you and Richard preparing for Seren’s first Christmas?**
**Lisa:** We’re absolutely buzzing with excitement! It’s a whole new world of wonder seeing Christmas through Seren’s eyes. We’re keeping things simple and focusing on creating magical memories. Lots of cuddles, twinkling lights, and perhaps a few baby-safe decorations!
**What are some of the traditions you and Richard are moast looking forward to sharing with Seren?**
**Lisa:** We want to start building our own family traditions. Singing carols, reading Christmas stories, and maybe even a special first Christmas stocking for Seren. It’s about making it feel extra special and cozy for her.
**Many new parents feel a whirlwind of emotions during this time – joy, excitement, but perhaps also a touch of overwhelm. How are you navigating those feelings?**
**Lisa:** Absolutely, it’s a rollercoaster! We’re learning as we go and embracing the chaos. The cuddles and Seren’s infectious joy definitely make it all worthwhile.

**Lisa Cannon:** Seren is doing wonderfully. She’s crawling all over the place now, so things are definitely lively! We’re so excited to experience all the magic of christmas through her eyes – the lights, the tree, the presents…I think she’ll be charmed by all of it.
**archyde:** Was there anything you were especially looking forward to doing as a family this Christmas? Any special traditions you’re starting?
**Lisa Cannon:** Actually, my dad will be joining us for Christmas Day, which is a real treat. We plan on keeping things fairly low-key, enjoying good food, playing games, and just spending quality time together as a family.
**Archyde:** It sounds absolutely idyllic. Without a doubt, this Christmas will be filled with joy and heartwarming moments. What’s the best part about being a mom during this festive season?
**Lisa Cannon:** Honestly, just seeing the world through Seren’s eyes is the most magical part. She brings us so much joy every day, and Christmas just amplifies that feeling. She’s the light of our lives, and she makes every moment special.
