A Milestone Concert to mark a New Chapter
“Alejas” is set to celebrate their latest release with an ambitious concert on January 30, 2025, at the “Angārs” concert hall. As kirils Ćis,the band’s lead vocalist and lyricist, explains,”This concert marks the closing of a powerful chapter for ‘Alejas’ and the beginning of an even more impactful one.”
He reflects on the band’s journey: “Six years ago, in these very same premises, we played our frist concert after finishing our debut album ‘Stāsti par dabu’. Back then, we had no roadmap, no idea where this musical journey would take us or who would listen. One thing was certain: making music with friends filled our lives with meaning – it was simply cool! Now, after countless performances, numerous theater, film, and interdisciplinary projects, and two full-length albums, we’ve realized the joy of sharing this sense of meaning. On January 30th, we’ll gather, celebrate, and share the best of what we have.”
tickets for this special concert are available for purchase here.
Before “Alejas” takes the stage, audiences will be treated to a performance by Marta Ansone, a talented musician known for her experimental pop music that blends indie, ambient, noise, and other genres. Her music is characterized by its nostalgic and intimate qualities, sometimes erupting into cathartic and chaotic expressions.
