Missing Child With Down Syndrome: Parents Undergo Lie Detector Test

Missing Child With Down Syndrome: Parents Undergo Lie Detector Test

Search continues for Missing Boy in Bulgaria

The search for 13-year-old Niki, who has Down Syndrome, has entered its third day, with ‍divers scouring dams around the village of Konare.⁣ Despite drones, equipment, gendarmerie from⁤ across the country, and⁣ hundreds⁣ of volunteers ‍tirelessly working,⁤ there’s still no sign ‌of the missing ‍boy.⁤ Investigators are pursuing all ‍avenues, including the possibility of disappearance, kidnapping, or a criminal act. As of now, around 200 individuals are actively ⁢involved in the search efforts. “We ⁣are‍ working on all⁤ possible‍ versions – whether the child is missing, ‌whether he ⁤was kidnapped, or whether ⁣some crime was ‍committed against‍ him,” said Ch. Insp. Andrean Avramov, the head of the regional administration in Kazanlak. He added, ‘Their stories are that the child simply left‍ his home and most likely got lost.’ Andrean Avramov could not disclose the⁣ results‌ of the ‌parents’ polygraph test, citing the ‍ongoing examination. Search and security specialist Assoc. Milen Ivanov emphasized the⁢ urgency of the situation. “For a child to survive for two days at this age outside of his home,‌ especially with ⁣such a genetic anomaly, is very worrying and most likely the end result is not very positive. Children with ‌such anomalies‌ find it⁤ challenging to navigate in nature,” he ‌explained. According to Ivanov, children like Niki⁣ typically don’t leave familiar⁣ surroundings voluntarily. “For him to leave a familiar place, he must either have been provoked ⁣by the⁢ people ‍around him, or he must have been impressed by something he saw.” He noted ‍similarities ⁢to Sashko’s case,⁤ a boy⁤ with spatial orientation difficulties who disappeared but was later found after⁤ nine days. “Two nights at sub-zero temperatures – hypothermia, guarantee, already on the first night.‍ And a fatal ⁤outcome,” Ivanov said, ‌expressing concern for Niki’s⁤ well-being. Authorities ‍plan to continue their intensive search, expanding the perimeter and combing the‍ area thoroughly in hopes of finding Niki.
## the Urgent Search for⁣ Missing⁤ Boy Niki

Joining us today to discuss the ⁤ongoing search for 13-year-old niki, who has Down Syndrome and went missing three days ago, is Assoc. ‍Milen Ivanov, a ⁤search and security specialist. Welcome to Archyde, Mr. ‌Ivanov.

archyde: ‌Mr. Ivanov, can you tell us what makes this case especially‌ worrisome?

Ivanov: For⁣ a‍ child with Down Syndrome like Niki to survive two⁣ nights outdoors in⁤ sub-zero temperatures is highly unlikely. Children with his condition often ⁤struggle navigating unfamiliar environments.hypothermia would have set in within the first night, making the situation extremely critical.

**Archyde:** Authorities are ⁢exploring all possibilities, from disappearance to kidnapping.⁢ What are ‌your thoughts ⁣on the likelihood of each scenario?

Ivanov: While all avenues need to be investigated, it’s crucial to consider Niki’s nature. Children like him rarely leave known surroundings willingly. So, there’s a strong possibility of external⁣ influence, whether coercion or something that captivated his attention.

**Archyde:** You mentioned similarities to⁢ another case, Sashko’s.Could you elaborate on that?

Ivanov: Sashko, a boy with spatial orientation challenges, disappeared under similar circumstances. He‍ was eventually found after nine days. This⁣ case ⁣gives us a shred of ⁤hope, though Niki’s situation is ⁣more urgent‌ due to ⁣the winter conditions.

**Archyde:** What advice do you have ⁣for the volunteers⁣ participating in the search?

**Ivanov:** Time is of the⁢ essence.⁢ Every minute counts. Volunteers should remain vigilant, thoroughly scouring every nook⁢ and cranny within the expanded perimeter. Pay close attention to any ⁤unusual signs or clues, no matter⁢ how insignificant they seem.

**Archyde: ** What message would you like to convey to our readers?

**Ivanov:** We need to keep‌ hope alive. Niki is a vulnerable child who ⁤depends on our collective efforts.⁢ Even ⁢a single clue from the public could be crucial in bringing him home.⁤ If anyone has any information, no ⁢matter how⁣ small, ⁣please come forward immediately.

** Archyde:**That’s a powerful message, Mr. Ivanov. Thank you ⁣for your time and expertise. We hope ⁣for a positive⁤ outcome ⁣to this heart-wrenching situation.

Today, we delve into the frantic search for thirteen-year-old Niki, a boy with Down syndrome who vanished from his village in Bulgaria three days ago. joining us today is search and security specialist,Assoc. Milen Ivanov, who has been following the case closely. Assoc. Ivanov, thank you for being here.

**Assoc. Ivanov:** Thank you for inviting me. This is a truly concerning case, and every passing hour is critical.

**Host:** Niki’s disappearance has sparked a massive search effort – divers, drones, hundreds of volunteers, and gendarmerie from across Bulgaria are involved. Can you shed some light on the challenges facing search teams?

**Assoc. Ivanov:** absolutely. This situation is particularly complex due to Niki’s condition. Children like Niki typically struggle to navigate unfamiliar environments. [1] They also find it difficult to withstand harsh weather conditions, which are a concern with the sub-zero temperatures the region has been experiencing. [1]

The terrain around Konare where Niki was last seen is challenging, with dams needing extensive underwater searches. Adding to the urgency is the fact that two nights in these conditions considerably increase the risk of hypothermia, possibly leading to a fatal outcome. [1]

**Host:** Authorities are investigating all possibilities, including the possibility that Niki might have been kidnapped. Can you provide any insight into that angle?

**Assoc. Ivanov:** While investigators are exploring all possible scenarios – disappearance, kidnapping, or a criminal act – it’s significant to remember that Niki’s profile suggests he wouldn’t typically leave familiar surroundings voluntarily. [1] This suggests he might have been provoked or lured by someone.

There are similarities to a previous case – Sashko, a boy with spatial orientation difficulties who disappeared for nine days before being found. [1] This case emphasizes the importance of remaining hopeful but also highlights the tragedy that can occur if Niki is not found soon.
