Book Passage in Corte Madera is hosting several exciting events in January. On January 8th,join Mark Nepo as he discusses his book “You Don’t Have to Do It Alone” wiht Brooke Warner online. Later that month, catch Rachel Howzell Hall discussing “The Last One” with Marin native Samantha Downing on january 9th, followed by Rhys Bowen discussing “We Three Queens” on january 11th.
Other January highlights include Sash Bischoff discussing “Sweet Fury” on the 11th, David Vogelstein discussing “Heroes of manhattan” and Cary Groner discussing “The Way” on the 12th, and Pico Iyer discussing “Aflame” with Don George on the 15th. All events at Book Passage are in-person unless otherwise noted.
The Mill Valley Public Library is also hosting a variety of literary events.A special “What is the Winter Solstice?” reading event for kids will take place on December 19th, and the marin Poetry Center will host poets Danusha Laméris and Dion O’Reilly on the same day. On january 15th, TJ Klune will discuss his book “Somewhere Beyond the sea” online.

Corinne Jonas will discuss Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky’s iconic “Nutcracker” on December 19th, followed by a presentation on medicare options with HICAP counselors on January 7th. On January 21st, Marie Narlock will discuss gardening with California native plants.
Head back to Book Passage on January 12th for a memoir-writing workshop led by Melissa Cistaro. The Marin County Law Library will host “Lawyers in the Library” on January 9th, an online event.
