It’s a pleasure to be here.

Doriane, your debut season in single-seater racing was nothing short of breathtaking, culminating in a well-deserved second-place finish. What was that experience like,making the transition to F1 Academy after success in endurance racing?



doriane Pin:



It was definitely a big change. Endurance racing requires a different approach,managing tires and fuel over long distances. Single-seater racing is all about pure speed and pushing the car to its limits. I’m grateful for the support from the Mercedes-AMG PETRONAS F1 Team and Iron Dames, who helped me adapt my driving style and develop the necessary skills.

Speaking of adaptation, Pittman’s transition to single-seaters is a challenging feat, as Gwen Lagrue, Driver Advancement advisor for Mercedes-AMG– Petronas F1 Team, pointed out. How did you overcome those initial challenges?



Doriane Pin:



Gwen’s advice was incredibly valuable.She helped me understand the nuances of single-seater driving and hone my racecraft. It was also about building confidence in myself and trusting my abilities.

You’ve mentioned your ambition to win the 2025 F1 Academy title. What are your plans and preparations looking ahead to the next season?



doriane Pin:



I’m already working hard with my team to analyse data, improve my fitness, and refine my driving strategy. The competition will be fierce, but I’m determined to give it my all and bring home the championship.
