**Aamir Khan:** Absolutely. Lockdown gave me a lot of time to introspect. I realized that my dedication to filmmaking, while fulfilling, had come at a cost. I had been so immersed in storylines and characters, lost in the world of cinema, that I hadn’t been fully present for my family. Seeing my children, two of whom are already adults, made me confront the fact that I had missed out on crucial parts of their childhoods.It was a heart-wrenching realization.
**Interviewer:** That must have been a tough moment. How did you cope with those feelings?
**Aamir Khan:** It was indeed a difficult time. It forced me to re-evaluate my priorities. I realized that while filmmaking is my passion,my family should be my first priority.
**Interviewer:** This realization led you to step away from acting for a while. What did this time away teach you?
**Aamir Khan:** Taking a break was a chance to reconnect with my loved ones, to focus on building those relationships. It allowed me to rediscover the joys of simple things, like family dinners and holidays together. It was a valuable reminder that true fulfillment comes from connection and love.
