Recently,I had the pleasure of sharing a book with my grandchildren,and their reactions were heartwarming and undeniably hilarious.My six-year-old grandson was completely enchanted by ​the talking creatures, particularly the frog. He declared the book “awesome!” and when I​ asked ⁤him⁢ what ‌he’d grow if he could plant anything,his answer,delivered with utmost seriousness,was “Jellybeans.” His reasoning? “You ‍said I could pick anything.” I​ guess I had that coming! As I read to his three-year-old sister, he wandered into the room and announced, “Oh, you’re helping Grandma now.” To ⁣my surprise,‌ instead of retreating, he stayed ⁤and listened intently, eagerly pointing out the charming critters he had come to love. For his younger sister, the highlight was the grocery ​store illustration ⁣bursting with‍ colorful produce. Not unexpected, considering her budding foodie tendencies. I posed the same question to her: ⁤what would she plant? Her response was enthusiastic and emphatic: ​”Carrots! I like carrots now!”
