Mythical Island is Bringing Powerful New Cards to Pokémon TCG Pocket
Get ready for some Mythical power! The long-awaited Mythical Island Booster Pack is coming soon to Pokémon TCG Pocket, and it’s set to shake up the meta. The new set, dropping December 17th, is following the Gen 1 theme.
A few explosive new cards were coveages alan, those were best in the trailer released on the official Pokémon YouTube channel. Two standouts are immediately grabbing attention: Mew ex and Aerodactyl ex.
Starting with the Psychic-type powerhouse, Mew ex boasts 20 base damage with the Psyshot attack, but its true power lies in Genome Hacking. This unique attack lets Mew ex copy any opponent’s attack by using any three Energies, creating unexpected threats to disrupt your opponent’s strategy.
Aerodactyl ex on the other hand, is focused heavily on preventing any evolution. Its Primeval Law Ability prevents opponents from evolving Pokémon from their hand. This is a potent move given that alternate evolution Methods and do not exist, This advantage can forward shift from the opponent’s hand. This ability, coupled with its
Aggressive 80 damage output using only two Energies (one of those being Fighting), makes Aerodactyl ex a threat worth watching closely
