Presented during Dutch Design Week in 2024, this fascinating project showcases the forgotten idea that recycling doesn’t have to mean tearing down and rebuilding. Instead, it can involve adapting and breathing new life into existing structures. The nacelle, which served for almost 19 years in a wind farm in Austria, has been transformed into a warm and inviting space reflective of eco-conscious living. The beautifully designed home measures 10 meters in length and 3.5 meters wide, showcasing how minimal living can be both comfortable and aesthetically pleasing.
