Russian attempts to launch an offensive across the Dnieper River in the Kherson region have been consistently thwarted by Ukrainian forces, according to a representative of the Southern Defense Forces.
“We cannot say that this is some kind of serious threat. For an offensive, it is necessary to transport military equipment. To do this, you need to equip a crossing, have some means. Before that, they had not conducted any activity there for a month and a half. In addition, for the last two weeks they have been trying to conduct reconnaissance in force near the Antonov bridges – railway and road. But all these attempts also ended in failure.”
