From December 8 to 15, Ceuta will be a hub of international tennis excitement as it hosts the II Bravoleum International Men’s Tennis Tournament. This prestigious event, sanctioned by the
International Tennis Federation (ITF), is set to attract top talent from around the globe, vying for a $15,000 prize purse and valuable ATP World Ranking points.

Tennis enthusiasts can look forward to witnessing athletes from tennis powerhouses Spain, Germany, France, and Portugal, as well as rising stars from Canada, Ukraine, Italy, Brazil, China, Great Britain, the Netherlands, Mexico, Peru, and India.
More Than Just a Tournament
“This tournament is not only an opportunity for professional tennis players to compete at a high level,” declared tournament director Yasin Harrús, “but it is also a significant step forward for the promotion of tennis in Ceuta.” He added, “Being part of the official ITF calendar and contributing to the ATP World Rankings is a major achievement. We are excited to see fans, both young and old, embrace this event and engage with the sport.”
The Ceuta Tennis Federation has partnered with the Royal Spanish Tennis Federation and the Ceutí Sports Institute to ensure a world-class experience for participants and spectators alike. It’s an enriching experience that will inspire them and ignite their passion for tennis.”
Shining a Spotlight on Ceuta
Beyond the excitement on the court, the tournament will also serve as a platform to showcase Ceuta as a vibrant tourist destination.
The influx of international players, coaches, and guests is expected to bring valuable exposure to the city, highlighting its unique culture and attractions, similar to the positive impact seen in other tennis tournaments held throughout Spain.
A World-Class Tennis Experience
The competition format features a classic singles draw with 64 players – 32 entering through qualifying rounds and another 32 joining for the main draw. In addition, 32 doubles pairings will battle it out for glory.
Matches will be played in a best-of-three-set format with tie-breakers, adding an extra element of intensity. Head Tour balls, known for their performance and durability, will be the official ball of the tournament.
Players will enjoy luxurious accommodations at the Ulises Hotel and will have access to comprehensive transfer and catering services provided by Sarao Jardines, ensuring a comfortable and memorable experience.
A Collaborative Effort
The tournament organizers extend their gratitude to local public institutions and private sponsors for their vital support. Bravoleum, Pinturas Dris, and Aguas Lanjarón have stepped up as key partners, demonstrating their belief in the tournament’s vision. The trust placed in the Ceuta federative team by the RFET and the ITF further underlines the significance of this event.
To officially launch the championship, a press conference will be held at the Autonomous Palace on Monday, December 9, at 12:00 p.m. This gathering promises to be a lively occasion, generating anticipation and excitement for the week ahead.
