A family of black belts runs Sidekicks Family Martial Arts, living proof that their program works.

“I think it’s really special because we have built our careers around helping kids be the best versions of themselves,” explained Jessica Cabrera, Manny’s mother and the lead instructor.
“And here we are. We get to see what the outcome of the benefit of the program looks like right in our own house.”

“We are walking the talk,” Jessica shared.

More than just teaching martial arts,” she continued, “we’re showing people what’s truly possible,” sharing their belief system

“We really make sure that the martial arts we’re teaching are dependent on their age group and their development, and then we’re also teaching them in those skills how to interact with others,” Dena Peavyhouse, the sales and marketing administrator explained. “They’re learning about teamwork,”
