Veteran Agent Joel Begleiter Makes Management Move to TFC
Joel Begleiter, a seasoned television literary agent with a long track record of success, has joined the ranks of TFC Management. This move comes on the heels of Begleiter’s departure from CAA, where he spent the last seven years representing top television writers.
A Reunion of Industry Veterans
Begleiter’s arrival at TFC reunites him with longtime friends and former colleagues Ben Jacobson and David Stone, who co-founded the management company in 2020. The trio previously collaborated at UTA before Stone transitioned to WMA (now WME) and Begleiter joined CAA.
“After serious consideration, it became clear to me that the opportunity to do something more entrepreneurial was ultimately undeniable,” Begleiter said. “I’m excited to join the team at TFC. I am thrilled to work with exceptional friends and partners that I’ve spent my entire professional career getting to know and trust.”
A Proven Track Record
Begleiter brings his extensive experience and industry relationships to TFC, shaping a robust roster of clients. His impressive resume includes nearly three decades in the entertainment industry, eighteen of which were spent rising through the ranks at UTA – from starting in the mailroom to becoming a top agent for television writers. His dedication to his clients and sharp eye for talent are well-established in the industry.
Beyond his traditional television writer clientele, Begleiter also cultivated a significant presence in the worlds of adult animation and live-play streaming. While at UTA, he played a key role in packaging iconic animated shows such as “Archer” and “Rick & Morty,” demonstrating his talent for identifying groundbreaking content.
Growth and Expansion for TFC
“We’re so excited to welcome Joel to TFC. He’s an incredible advocate, a very well-liked and well-respected executive, and a longtime friend,” Jacobson and Stone said. “He brings with him not only a dynamic roster of clients, but a wealth of industry relationships and experience across a variety of mediums and genres.”
The addition of Begleiter marks the third high-profile partner-level hire for TFC since its launch. Brittany Kahan Ward and Graciella Sanchez joined the team in 2023 after previous roles at Echo Lake Entertainment, further solidifying TFC’s growing reputation in the industry.
