Zak Brown, CEO of McLaren, acknowledges the sheer brilliance of Verstappen. "He’s one of the greatest drivers ever," acknowledges a realistic Brown, "We came into the season wanting to compete for both titles, but Verstappen proved to be a size too big."
McLaren achieved significant progress this year, seizing the lead in the standings for a short period during the summer, demonstating the power of their car.
"He is a special driver , and he continually shows why he’s considered the best of this generation," Brown explained
Verstappen’s dominance didn’t come without facing fierce competition.
