He also issued a chilling warning regarding Russia’s willingness to resort to nuclear weapons, claiming Putin’s recent threats are not a bluff.
“There will be a radiation zone that no one can enter during our lifetime. And the war will be over,'” Malofeyev said, implying Russia would target Ukrainian territory with a nuclear weapon if continued U.S. support for Ukraine provokes further escalation.
