Annual Farm Show Returns to Webster County with Packed Lineup
The Webster County Fairgrounds are gearing up to host the 22nd annual CJ Bio America Farm News Ag Show this Friday and Saturday.
A Celebration of Agriculture

Kicking things off on Friday at 9:30 a.m. is Alexis Stevens, Farm Management Specialist for Iowa State University Extension. Her presentation, “From Field to Firewall: Protecting Ag in the Digital Age,” will delve into the crucial topic of cybersecurity in today’s increasingly digital farming landscape.
Following Stevens, Dr. Kapil Arora, Field Agricultural Engineer for Iowa State University Extension, will take the stage at 11 a.m. to discuss “Managing Soil Compaction on the Farm.” This timely topic is sure to resonate with many farmers looking for strategies to enhance soil health and productivity.
Friday’s afternoon session begins at 1 p.m. with Nathan Stein, owner of Airstrike Ag of Barnum. Stein’s presentation, “ The Sky is Ours: Coordinating and Launching Air Strikes on the Farm,” promises insight into the innovative world of aerial application techniques.
Rounding out Friday’s speaker lineup is Justin Hellickson, National Key Account Manager for AgroEcopower. Hellickson will share his expertise on “ECM Training: Going the Extra Mile So You Don’t Have To,” focusing on efficient equipment management and maintenance.
Saturday’s keynote speaker is none other than Ag Show favorite David Kruse, President of Commstock. Starting at 8:30 a.m., Kruse will deliver a presentation titled “What Works and What Won’t: Ways to Cushion the Landing in the Farm Economy,” offering his insights on navigating the ever-changing agricultural market.

The Texas Toast and Tots Food Truck will be on site throughout the day on both Friday and Saturday, offering delicious meals to keep visitors fueled up.
For those arriving early on Saturday, Chris Cakes will be serving up a free pancake breakfast sponsored by the Webster County Farm Bureau – a delightful way to start the day.
