According to Jesús Aristizabal, owner of a store in the Laureles neighborhood of Medellín, Lupita was used to going out in front of the business to sunbathe. ANDLast Wednesday, September 27, he did the same, but did not return.

As the hours passed, Jesús decided to go to the residential complexes near his store and He requested the videos from the security cameras, there he found out what had happened. “In the videos you can see that a man, accompanied by a woman, is carrying her,” he said.
After seeing the images, he remembered that the same man was sitting at one of the tables in his store waiting for the woman who appears in the videos.

“I usually put the collar on him, but that day, he accidentally came out without having it on. In the videos it is also seen that ‘Lupita’, before they took her, was chasing some dogs that passed by the place and when she was returning to the house, the man called her and took her in his arms,” Jesus added.
They ask for them to be returned
The loss of the pet has meant insurmountable anguish for the family, His three children, ages 7, 14 and 15, as well as his wife, are desperate to find her.

**Jesús Aristizabal:** The outpouring of support has been overwhelming. Our neighbours and even strangers have shared posters and been searching alongside us. It gives us hope knowing so many people care about Lupita and want to see her safe and sound.

**Jesús Aristizabal:** Please, just bring her back. No questions asked.
We just want Lupita home.
