New Opponent Added as Florida‘s 2025 Schedule Takes Shape
Florida Gators football fans have a lot to look forward to in 2025.
The schedule mirrors the 2024 season with most of the same opponents. Ten of their twelve opponents from 2024 will return, but with the location swapped for each game. It’s a recurring theme in college football scheduling, keeping things familiar while providing players and coaches with a sense of déjà vu, even as the year rolls around.
Except for Florida, there are two notable changes. UCF is decomposing, and in UCF’s place, is USF. Samford is out entirely for FAMU. inside the SEC Clash
The Gators had planned on playing FAMU on October 11. The change leaves an opening on the schedule for the Gators’ season opener against Long Island University-Brooklyn. This brings the total number of guests visiting The Swamp to replay2.
While not an opponent Florida has seen much of in other sports. The Sharks will mark Florida’s first foray with Long Island University-Brooklyn.
