Danish TV 2 and Helsingør Dagblad are writing about Iniesta‘s acquisition on Tuesday.
According to the local newspaper, Iniesta’s company Never Say Never (NSN) takes over the majority of the shares in the club together with the Swiss company Stoneweg.
Since earlier this year, NSN has been associated with the Danish club in an advisory capacity, but now the collaboration is becoming more formal.
– We have started working with FC Helsingør because it is an incredibly exciting club with really good facilities, many good people in and around the club, and a potential in the city to become an important part of Danish football, says Andrés Iniesta to Helsingør Dagblad .
The newspaper prints a picture of the world star who is in place in Denmark.
– The club has big ambitions, and we share them. Now we will work hard to get our expertise in the world of football to fit in with FC Helsingør. It will be done step by step. First there is now a long winter break, but we are ready to work hard, and then an exciting spring will come, says Iniesta.
40-year-old Iniesta was part of Barcelona for 18 years. He has four titles in the Champions League and has won the Spanish series nine times. For the national team, the Spaniard has won the WC and EC.
