Eurowings Expands Summer 2025 Berlin Network with Five New Routes
Berliners can look forward to more travel options next summer, as Eurowings is bolstering its network out of the German capital with five new seasonal destinations. The announcements unveil a variety of sunshine spots across Europe, offering travelers diverse choices for their 2025 summer getaways.
Effective April 11th, 2025, holidaysmakers can jet off to the vibrant Basque city of Bilbao, with two weekly flights on Airbus A320 or A321 aircraft. Starting slightly earlier, on April 2nd, Eurowings will reinstate its service to the charming Algarve region of Portugal, connecting Berlin with Faro with three weekly flights.
The Spanish sunshine continues to beckon with the launch of a twice-weekly service to Jerez de la Frontera, commencing on April 29th. Further south, Greece awaits with the addition of picturesque Kerkyra (Corfu) to the route map, starting on April 26th. Initially offering a weekly service, flights to Corfu will increase to two weekly from May 27th.
Finally, Eurowings is expanding its UK reach, with two weekly flights to Newcastle starting on May 1st.
In addition to the five new destinations, Eurowings is also boosting its existing services from Berlin during the peak summer season.
From August 3rd to 9th, 2025, bookers will see increased flight frequency to Malaga, rising from five to eight weekly services. Berliners can also take advantage of increased options to Nice, with platform connectors jumping from five to seven weekly flights.
While some routes are receiving a boost, others are undergoing slight adjustments. Services to Palma de Mallorca will decrease slightly, dropping from 22 to 21 weekly flights.Meanwhile, Eurowings will double its weekly flights to Rhodes, offering four weekly options for travelers seeking to explore this Greek island gem. Split also witnessing increased connectivity, with the number of weekly flights jumping from three to five.
Finally, Eurowings has announced a reduction in service to both Tbilisi and Yerevan, each dropping from two weekly flights to just one.
Several routes currently offered from Berlin are not scheduled to return in the summer 2025 schedule, including services to Casablanca, Cukurova (Mersin), and Vienna.
