The Indonesian fashion brand that focuses on environmental issues and women’s empowerment, SukkhaCitta, will present an exhibition entitled Regeneration. This is an exhibition rooted in local Indonesian wisdom to create a sustainable future.
This exhibition will be held for one year until the end of 2025 in various cities, both in Indonesia and abroad. The concept of this event will rely on nature’s regenerative cycles and focus on soil health, women’s empowerment, and cultural preservation.
SukkhaCitta Founder Denica Riadini-Flesch said that in the near future, the Regeneration exhibition will be held in Jakarta, followed by Singapore, before finally continuing to Bali and other cities in Indonesia to invite people to get involved in this transformative movement.

“Starting from Jakarta, Bali, Singapore, to hopefully various other cities in Indonesia, the Regeneration exhibition wants to remind friends to give more than you take, especially for our Earth. “We can start from one of the things closest to us every day, namely clothes,” he said at a press conference.
He added that all their works are made from natural materials, from cotton to natural dyes. This aims to regenerate the soil.
“All of SukkhaCitta’s works are made with 100% plants, from Tumpang Sari cotton which is grown organically and regeneratively, to the natural dyes that color all our fabrics. We apply this so that everything we create can regenerate the soil from changing how it is grown, can repaired through re-dye services, and designed to be able to biodegrade back to the Earth leaving zero waste,” said Denica.

This exhibition also invites the public to re-recognise and weave our relationship with where our clothes come from.
Apart from that, visitors will be invited to contribute to the MAMA TANAH program, an initiative that has been run for 4 years by the Rumah SukkhaCitta Foundation.
This program aims to empower women in remote areas of Indonesia by combining traditional agricultural techniques with modern technology to restore soil health.
MAMA TANAH not only aims to address climate change and gender inequality, but also provides sustainable livelihoods for women in Eastern Indonesia so they can continue to care for their ancestral traditions.
The Regenrasi Exhibition can be visited from 20 November 2024 to 18 May 2025 at Plaza Indonesia. Visitors can also enjoy a series of Regeneration trips at Ashta District 8 and Design Orchard Singapore.
Each exhibition offers a unique experience and opportunity for visitors to see a new perspective on fashion, especially clothing.
SukkhaCitta is a fashion brand that carries the concept of “from farm-to-closet”, committed to inspiring hope and empowering women.
It is also the first fashion brand in the world to receive Ethically Handcrafted certification and the first fashion brand in Asia to have a verified net zero target by the Science Based Targets Initiative. (Z-1)
