The Methosa Band GROUP has started to become a topic of conversation among the people of the country. How could it not be, they are always consistent in their work by continuing to create songs with themes of social criticism.
In fact, Methosa’s latest song, entitled Bangun Orang Waras, has reached 100,000 viewers on the YouTube channel in less than a month after its release.
Even though many people think the song is too sharp, the Methosa personnel said that, “Actually, this song is a form of our hearts as children of the nation who express their complaints in the medium of music.”
“We also didn’t expect this song to find a place in the hearts and ears of Indonesian music lovers, because currently songs that contain social criticism are not very popular,” continued the band.
Methosa sees that this is a pretty good start to build the spirit of the nation’s children to continue working in their fields, dare to speak out and of course remain critical. (Z-1)
