Starting this Tuesday, November 26, 2024, the inhabitants of the Capital of the Republic will be able to process their passports at seven RedCADE points, thanks to the alliance achieved between the Mayor’s Office of Bogotá and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

The Mayor’s Office confirmed that the service points to process the passport in the CADE Network are: SuperCADE Las Américas; Super CADE Calle 13; CADE Fontibón; CADE Santa Lucía; CADE Tunal; CADE Servitá and soon CADE Gaitana, distributed throughout the city that will allow nearly 8,000 passports to be issued each month.

This new service benefits the citizens of six locations: Kennedy, Puente Aranda, Fontibón, Rafael Uribe Uribe, Usaquén, Tunjuelito. Soon the town of Suba

Citizens must enter the Foreign Ministry’s website at www.cancillería.gov.co, where they can schedule appointments flexibly and in real time, 24 hours a day, every day of the week. The passport application and delivery process generally takes between 24 and 48 hours from the date of the appointment to the delivery of the document.

Opening hours for passports in the CADE Network of Bogotá

In principle, this alliance between the District administration and the Chancellery will last one year, with opening hours at the CADES from Monday to Friday, from 7:00 am to 4:30 pm. At the SuperCADE it is from Monday to Friday from 7:00 am to 4:30 pm. :00 am to 4:30 pm and Saturdays from 7:00 am to 12:00 m.

Costs for passports in the CADE Network of Bogotá

Obtaining your passport through the CADE Network will not have any additional cost, given that the Foreign Ministry offers the same conditions of service as its headquarters. The value will continue to be the one announced by the Foreign Ministry, currently $182,000.

Exemptions in payment for passports in the CADE Network of Bogotá

Colombians who are in the country and belong to level 1 and 2 of SISBEN, who meet disability conditions, are adults over 62 years of age, people who must leave the country for health, educational or work reasons, or who belong to sports, cultural, artistic, scientific or technological development delegations.
