**Interview: Unveiling the Suzuki V-Strom 160**
**Host**: Welcome to our special segment on the latest in motorbike releases! Today, we have an exciting guest, Mr. Adrian Sukarno, Suzuki’s Regional Marketing Manager, who’s here to tell us all about the new Suzuki V-Strom 160. Adrian, thank you for joining us!
**Adrian**: Thank you for having me! It’s a pleasure to be here and share the excitement about our latest adventure bike.
**Host**: So, Adrian, the V-Strom 160 has just been launched, and it seems to be creating quite a buzz. Can you tell us what sets this bike apart from its older sibling, the V-Strom SX 250?
**Adrian**: Absolutely! The V-Strom 160 is designed as a more accessible option for new riders and those seeking adventure in a compact form. While it shares the design ethos with the V-Strom SX 250, it features a smaller, more agile 160 cc engine that still packs a punch with 14.75 hp. It’s all about delivering that adventure spirit in a lighter, easier-to-handle package.
**Host**: Speaking of design, the bike has a sporty and aggressive look. What specific features contribute to that aesthetic?
**Adrian**: Great question! The V-Strom 160 features a stacked light setup at the front, which not only enhances visibility but also gives it that distinctive adventure bike look. The windshield and traditional beak give it character, and the overall slender profile makes it perfect for urban riding while still being capable off-road.
**Host**: And let’s talk about performance. How does the bike handle in terms of off-road capabilities versus city commuting?
**Adrian**: The V-Strom 160 strikes a balance. With a ground clearance of 160 mm and 17-inch wheels fitted with tubeless tires, it’s ready for light off-road adventures while still being nimble in urban environments. **Adrian**: Yes, safety is a priority for us. The V-Strom 160 comes equipped with disc brakes on both ends, along with an Anti-lock Braking System (ABS) to prevent skidding during hard stops. This is essential for riders who may encounter varying conditions, especially when venturing off the beaten path.
