LONDON – An eleventh team should be added to the Formula 1 series in 2026. The management of the prestigious series confirmed on Monday that it had reached an agreement with the American car company General Motors to support its entry.
“Formula 1 has reached an agreement in principle with General Motors (GM) to support the entry of GM/Cadillac as the eleventh team on the Formula 1 grid in 2026,” stated F1 on the official website about the planned inclusion of a new team.

In January of that year, the management of F1 did not agree to the entry of the Andretti stable into the series from 2025.
