Batam (ANTARA) – Singapore has a new tourist attraction, namely The Infinite Space Explorers, which offers space adventures with astronauts who are carrying out their duties on the International Space Station (ISS).
Senior Associate II, Sales and Projects Singapore Science Center Cherie Chua in Singapore, Monday, said that The Infinite Space Experience was the first space vehicle in Southeast Asia, previously it had been in Canada and the United States.
“The Infinite is a great space adventure, visitors can explore the ISS inside and outside using virtual reality (VR),” he said.
With dynamic ticket prices starting at 25 Singapore dollars, visitors can explore the number space using virtual reality for approximately 1 to 45 minutes.
In this VR show, visitors can see the activities of astronauts who live and work on the ISS which is located in orbit around the earth at an altitude of around 410 km. All the videos displayed in VR come from four astronauts carrying out missions on the Artemis II international space station.
The four astronauts, namely Christina Hammock Koch (the only woman), David Saint-Jacques, Lucas Parmitano, and Victore J Glover.
It’s like exploring space, that’s the sensation visitors enjoy when trying The Infinite Experience ride.
In the video viewed via VR, visitors are invited to tour the ISS. There we listened to stories from astronauts who told their experiences while in space.

As Christina Koch shared her experience of pursuing her dream of working at NASA, she was not supported by her family. However, its current existence proves the hard work he has done so far.
There are four rounds in the 45 minute VR ride. Visitors can interact while exploring each stage in the VR ride. Every time you want to enter a new round, visitors can touch the button screen like the opening door to enter the next new round.
Each chapter tells a different story, such as in chapter III, the astronauts tell their experiences when there was a COVID-19 outbreak, they could only watch from the numbers room, without knowing for sure what the conditions were like.
On the ISS we can also see astronauts carrying out their daily activities, even though they have to live floating for some time, they have rooms for sleeping. Astronauts also have to maintain their physical condition by exercising.
After exploring the inside of the ISS, visitors are also invited to explore the number room, watching as astronauts work on things outside the ISS.
This sensation is like in the film Interstellar, seeing the earth from below, and the stars above.
After walking in space for 30 minutes, visitors can also see the atmosphere outside the ISS. In this position, visitors can sit in the chairs provided.
Partahi, a visitor from Batam, Riau Islands, admitted that he was amazed by the space adventures in The Infinite.
“So far you can only watch it on television. You can watch it via VR, it’s like being in space, it feels real,” he said.
Apart from space exploration, the Singapore Science Center also has a science playground. On Monday, many students came to visit.
