AFTER divorcing Sam Asghari, Britney Spears continues to promote self-love or loving yourself. Not long ago he showed his total love for himself with quite a controversial action. Spears married herself.

He showed this in one of his uploads on Instagram at the end of October. In a video on her Instagram account, @xilamariariverred, Spears showed herself in a wedding dress and told her fans she had “married myself.”

Spears, wearing an ivory gown and veil, poses for the camera smiling in the video with Sting’s “Fields of Gold” playing in the background. “The day I married myself… Bringing it up again because it might seem embarrassing or stupid, but I think it was the most brilliant thing I’ve ever done!!!”

The hitmaker then shared another video showing herself wearing a white silk minidress and white-rimmed sunglasses to the song “Run, Baby, Run” by Sheryl Crow.

The 42-year-old pop superstar paired the outfit with a pair of knee-high black boots, tossing her hair, twirling and dancing while on a private plane in the video.

Britney Spears and Sam Asghari ended their relationship and divorced on May 2, according to court documents. The couple’s split was announced in August 2023. The two were first romantically linked in late 2016 before marrying on June 9, 2022. The two will be declared legally single on December 2, 2024, as California law requires at least a six-month waiting period.

Court documents previously stated they had separated on July 30, 2023, due to “irreconcilable differences that caused an irreparable breakdown of the marriage, making it impossible for the parties to live together as husband and wife.” (M-1)
