Barcelona COACH Hansi Flick stated that he did not want to take the risk of playing Lamine Yamal for the La Liga match against Celta Vigo at the Balaidos Stadium, Sunday (24/11) early morning WIB.
Yamal has an ankle injury and already missed the match against Real Socieded before the November international break.
Flick chose to give Yamal the opportunity to focus on recovering from his injury and is confident that the 17 year old player will recover soon enough to return to defend El Barca.

“He will return as soon as he feels 100% good and fit,” said the former Bayern Munich coach, quoted from Fabrizio Romano’s account, Friday (22/11).
This season, Yamal formed a deadly trio with Robert Lewandowski and Raphinha, which led Barcelona to win 14 of 17 matches.
From the 16 matches he played, Yamal collected six goals and eight assists.
His brilliant performance brought the Blaugrana to the lead in the La Liga standings with a six-point advantage over Real Madrid and in sixth place in the Champions League with nine points from four matches. (Ant/Z-1)

What are the key benefits for Hansi Flick’s strategy in resting Lamie Yamal ahead of critical matches?
**Short Interview with Sports Analyst on Hansi Flick’s Decision Regarding Lamie Yamal**
**Interviewer:** Today, we have with us sports analyst Alex Morgan to discuss Germany’s national football team coach, Hansi Flick, and his recent decision to rest young star Lamie Yamal. Alex, thanks for joining us!
**Alex Morgan:** Thank you for having me!
**Interviewer:** So, Hansi Flick announced that he will be resting Lamie Yamal for upcoming matches. What do you think about this decision?
**Alex Morgan:** I think resting Yamal is a strategic move. He’s a young talent and has been having a standout season, but with that comes the risk of burnout. It’s essential for coaches to manage their players’ workloads, especially when they are still developing and adapting to high levels of competition.
**Interviewer:** That makes sense. How do you think this will impact the team moving forward?
**Alex Morgan:** It could be beneficial in the long run. By giving Yamal some time off, it allows him to recuperate physically and mentally. This could lead to even better performances in the future. Plus, it gives other players a chance to step up and prove themselves, which can strengthen team cohesion and depth.
**Interviewer:** What about the fans? How might they react to this news?
**Alex Morgan:** Fans are often eager to see their favorite players on the pitch, especially someone as exciting as Yamal. However, if they understand the rationale behind it—to prioritize the player’s long-term health—they might be more supportive. Ultimately, they want to see the team succeed, and that often means making tough decisions like this one.
**Interviewer:** Great insights, Alex. Any final thoughts about Germany’s upcoming fixtures and the potential for the squad without Yamal?
**Alex Morgan:** I think Germany has a deep bench and can absorb the loss of any one player. It’s a test of their overall strategy and adaptability. If they can perform well without Yamal, it could be a good sign for the team as they prepare for larger tournaments ahead.
**Interviewer:** Thank you, Alex, for your thoughts on this topic!
**Alex Morgan:** My pleasure! Always happy to discuss football.
