Argentinian Franco Colapinto had a great result in Las Vegas, finishing 13th in a Williams. It is worth remembering that during qualifying he suffered a serious accident in which his car was destroyed and his participation in the main race was questioned due to the impact on the driver (G-force 50).

However, after passing the medical and the Williams mechanics doing an excellent job restoring the car, Colapinto started from the pit lane (20th) and finished 14th with some good overtaking maneuvers.

Speaking to the media after the race, Colapinto seemed satisfied with his assignment and was extremely grateful to his team, who did the incredible job of recovering his car and allowing him to race. Here are the highlights from the weekend.

Frustration on Saturday, resignation on Sunday

He fell in love with street racing, but…

Finally, he emphasized: “These kids (for Williams’ mechanics) deserve a monument, idiots.”
