Barcelona COACH Hansi Flick stated that he did not want to take the risk of playing Lamine Yamal for the La Liga match against Celta Vigo at the Balaidos Stadium, Sunday (24/11) early morning WIB.
Yamal has an ankle injury and already missed the match against Real Socieded before the November international break.
Flick chose to give Yamal the opportunity to focus on recovering from his injury and is confident that the 17 year old player will recover soon enough to return to defend El Barca.

“He will return as soon as he feels 100% good and fit,” said the former Bayern Munich coach, quoted from Fabrizio Romano’s account, Friday (22/11).
This season, Yamal formed a deadly trio with Robert Lewandowski and Raphinha, which led Barcelona to win 14 of 17 matches.
From the 16 matches he played, Yamal collected six goals and eight assists.
His brilliant performance brought the Blaugrana to the lead in the La Liga standings with a six-point advantage over Real Madrid and in sixth place in the Champions League with nine points from four matches. (Ant/Z-1)

**Interview with Hansi Flick on Team Strategy and Player Management**
**Editor:** Welcome, Hansi Flick! It’s great to have you with us today. Recently, you mentioned plans to rest Lamie Yamal in the upcoming matches. Can you share your thoughts on why this decision is important for the team?
**Hansi Flick:** Thank you for having me! Resting players like Lamie is crucial, especially considering the intensity of our schedule. Young players have a lot of potential, but we must manage their minutes carefully to prevent burnout and injuries. It’s all about balancing immediate performance with long-term development.
**Editor:** That’s an interesting perspective. How do you assess the readiness of your team to handle these changes, particularly with a young squad?
**Hansi Flick:** Our younger players have shown remarkable adaptability. They learn quickly and bring fresh energy to the team. However, it’s vital to ensure they get the right support from more experienced teammates. We have built a culture where we emphasize learning and teamwork, which helps everyone adjust to these rotations.
**Editor:** What do you believe is the key to maintaining team morale when making such adjustments?
**Hansi Flick:** Communication is key. I make it a point to explain my decisions to the players, so they understand the reasoning behind resting someone like Lamie. It’s important that each team member feels valued and part of our strategy. Keeping a unified front helps maintain high morale, even when not everyone is on the pitch.
**Editor:** Looking ahead, what are your expectations for the upcoming matches as you implement this strategy of resting players?
**Hansi Flick:** My expectation is that our team will not only perform well but also showcase depth. This strategy allows us to give opportunities to others who will step up. I am confident that we have a strong squad that can compete at a high level, regardless of who is on the field.
**Editor:** Thank you, Hansi, for sharing your insights on player management and team dynamics. We wish you all the best in your upcoming matches!
**Hansi Flick:** Thank you! Always a pleasure to discuss our plans with you.
