For the first time, the tallest woman in the world, Rumeysa Gelgi, and the smallest, Joyti Amge, met. It was Guinness World Records which organized the exchange between the two holders of these height records, in London. Rumeysa Gelgi is a 27-year-old Turkish woman, and she is 2.15 m tall. Joyti Amge is 30 years old, comes from India and measures only 62.8 cm.
The two women were invited to London on the occasion of the 70th anniversary of Guinness World Records. They had tea together, reports La Voix du Nord. “It was amazing meeting Jyoti for the first time. It was sometimes difficult for us to make eye contact because of our height difference, but it was great,” said Rumeysa Gelgi. A feeling shared by Joyti Amge, who said she was “delighted” to have met Rumeysa Gelgi. “I’m used to looking up and seeing people taller than me, but I was very happy to look up today and see the tallest woman in the world,” she added. this Indian actress who suffers from a form of dwarfism.
