Sydney Thomas, a rising star in the world of ring girls, shared captivating new pictures showcasing her experience at the highly anticipated Netflix boxing match featuring Jake Paul and Mike Tyson, which took place on Friday night.
The 20-year-old garnered significant attention online, as fans dubbed her ‘the real winner’ after the fight, which many criticized as a tedious 16-minute affair held at the sprawling AT&T Stadium.
Just two days following the event, the enthusiastic Thomas offered her rapidly growing following a glimpse behind the scenes of her fight night responsibilities, highlighting the thrills and challenges of being a ring girl.
Her photo carousel featured striking images of her posing atop one of the ring corners, standing proudly ringside, sharing a cheerful group shot with fellow ring girls, and dynamic clips of her showcasing the round signs in the squared circle.
‘What a night,’ she exuberantly penned alongside a boxing glove emoji. ‘Getting the opportunity to step into the ring with @MikeTyson and @JakePaul for such a historic fight is something I never imagined I’d be able to say.

Conveying her gratitude, she added, ‘Words can’t describe this moment or how grateful I am to be part of such an amazing team at @MostValuablePromotions. History was made, and I’m truly honored to have been a part of it.’
At the pre-fight press conference, the vivacious Thomas shared a clip of herself on stage, confidently displaying the finger strap on her attire to the camera before the footage panned to reveal the backdrop of the press event.
‘Ring girl, close enough,’ she humorously remarked in the post, which has since gone viral, racking up an impressive 1.1 million likes on TikTok. Her newfound fame has also contributed to a substantial increase in her online presence, pushing her follower count to 872k on the platform.

The 20-year-old went viral as a ring girl for the first Netflix boxing event at AT&T Stadium
While Paul secured a unanimous decision victory over the 58-year-old Tyson, disappointing many viewers around the globe, it was ultimately Thomas who captured the limelight and ignited excitement across social media.
She was joined by fellow ring girls Virginia Sanhouse, Lexi Williams, Delia Sylvain, and Raphaela Milagres, who all contributed to the glitzy atmosphere of the Netflix spectacle.
Balancing her burgeoning career and academic pursuits, Thomas is currently a student at the University of Alabama and made her ring girl debut just last month at a fight event in Puerto Rico.
