Electric Dreams and Laughs: Tangkas Motor’s Expansion in East Java

Welcome, everyone! In a twist worthy of the best comedy routines, Indonesian Tangkas Motor Electric has just rolled out more electric motorcycles than a dodgy cable company at a tech expo! CEO Agung Pamungkas—known affectionately as Don Papank (you’re thinking it, I’m just saying it)—has opened not one, not two, but FOUR new dealers in the bustling streets of East Java. Talk about overachieving! Get this—one of the showrooms includes a full lineup of electric bikes. See, folks, it’s not just the shock of an electric current; it’s the *shock* of choice!

But why electric, you ask? Well, not only are these beauties eco-friendly, but they also give the middle finger to fossil fuels while hugging Mother Nature! Don Papank said that these new showrooms are a strategic move to enlighten the public on how they can hop onto the green bandwagon without looking like they’ve just come out of a 70’s sci-fi movie.

Now, don’t let me put words in Don’s mouth—he’s quoted in the article, ready to trot out phrases like a seasoned politician. He mentions an exciting collaboration with young entrepreneur Raden Rizky! Apparently, Rizky is a multi-talented force, which is as confusing as a vegan at a barbecue. There’s contracting, skincare, and battery business—what’s next, a cooking show? I mean, if you can keep batteries fresh while making a mean vegan casserole, you’re onto something!

“Expanding together with Mas Rizky” sounds closely like some sort of motivational seminar—investing in the future by riding around on scooters. And these aren’t just any scooters; these are bikes with government subsidies! Because, let’s be honest, who doesn’t love a little financial help to make their eco-friendly dreams come true?

Now, let’s break it down—we’ve got two models racking up the awards and slews of government documents like a highly organized tax accountant. The P6 Pro is a marvel of engineering with an SLA battery that gives it a max travel distance of 80-90 kilometers! That’s like the distance from here to the other side of town—if you don’t run out of battery first! And it can go up to 60 km/h, which is perfect because you definitely don’t want to outrun your own battery. Never chase the power on an empty battery!

Then we have the E6 Box, which sounds like a pizza delivery vehicle with a fantastically rounded body. Yes, it’s got the looks—you’ll want to make sure it’s not confused with a wardrobe. It can cover a whopping 100 kilometers! And its price point? Just IDR 14.5 million. You’ll save on fuel, which is basically the same as that little morning coffee splurge that adds up over time. Trust me, every rupiah counts when you’re asking the government for a subsidy!

If that isn’t enough to make you want to jump on an electric bike, the Tangkas V8 is coming in hot with a retro look that’ll have your grandma convinced cars are so last century. It covers 60 kilometers on a 60V/20Ah battery. All for just IDR 13.6 million, which is basically a steal in the motorcycle world. I mean, it’s still cheaper than my monthly coffee habit, and that’s saying something!

And we can’t forget the X7: the large scooter model that has caught the eye of many, complete with sturdy body (perfect for those dramatic gestures while you’re stuck at a red light). With a battery that allows a distance of 80 kilometers and a price of IDR 22.3 million, it’s practically begging to be ridden with the wind in your hair and a playlist blasting in your ear.

So, folks, as the world speeds toward a greener future, Tangkas Motor Electric is at the helm, steering us toward a less polluted horizon. No fossil fuels, no noisy engines—just silent glide and the sweet sound of an amusingly hedging entrepreneur’s pitch. Who knows? Maybe one of these days, you’ll see me on one of those bad boys—either that or you’ll see me endlessly searching for charging stations while not so subtly cursing the battery life!
