**Editor:** Thank you for joining us today, Jean-Pierre. Can you tell us a bit about the “A Taxi, A Job, A Future” project and its objectives?
**Jean-Pierre:** Thank you for having me. This project aims to provide economic opportunities for individuals in our community through the taxi industry. Our goal is to empower participants by offering them not just a vehicle but also the training and support they need to succeed as taxi drivers.
**Editor:** How were the beneficiaries selected for this program?
**Jean-Pierre:** The selection process was quite rigorous and took place in two phases. We prioritized transparency throughout the process. Candidates underwent motivational interviews to assess their commitment, along with driving tests to ensure they had the necessary skills.
**Editor:** That’s interesting! Can you share some details about the recent information session held for the beneficiaries?
**Jean-Pierre:** Absolutely. Last Thursday, we hosted an information session at the cinema Manga in Cité des cadres Comilog. It was an opportunity for the selected beneficiaries to learn more about the project, receive their vehicles, and discuss the next steps. This gathering fostered a sense of community and excitement among them.
**Editor:** Where can people find the list of the selected beneficiaries?
**Jean-Pierre:** The list is publicly available on the Ogooué Mining Company’s website, Comilog. We believe in transparency and making information easily accessible to the community.
**Editor:** Looking ahead, what impact do you hope this project will have on the community?
**Jean-Pierre:** We aim to create sustainable livelihoods and reduce unemployment in our area. By enabling these individuals to become self-sufficient through the taxi industry, we hope to uplift families and inspire others to pursue their dreams.
