Table tennis champions Linz AG Froschberg also won the third group game in the Women’s Champions League and are now in the quarter-finals. On Saturday the Upper Austrians won against Saint-Denis TT 3-1. Linz Froschberg had already won the first leg in France two weeks ago 3-2. Suthasini Sawettabut contributed two points to the win in the home game, Britt Eerland scored the third point.

Only Ivana Malobabic lost her game 1:2, before Sawettabut made everything clear with a 3:2 win against Paris star Prithika Pavade. The Thai won the deciding set 6:5. On December 16th, Linz Froschberg will play against Italy’s representatives ASD Quattro Mori in Cagliari in the last group game.
