Engadget, Thursday (14/11) reported that this application is available as free software which is currently still limited to several countries.
This week it became known that its availability can be found on devices sold in Australia, India, US, UK and the Philippines.
In fact, before there was a special application for Gemini on the iPhone, users could access it via the Google application with several restrictions.
With the presence of applications dedicated specifically to iPhone phones, there are now more features that can be accessed by users, for example, this particular application includes Google’s Gemini Live feature.
Users can even interact with AI agents from Dynamic Island and their iPhone’s Lock Screen with Gemini Live. This interaction means that users do not need to open the application on the cellphone screen to use Gemini.
When downloaded, users do not need to make a payment, but a subscription to the Gemini Advanced package is required to use each feature more optimally.
Gemini Advanced is included in Google’s One AI Premium plan, which starts at $19 per month.
The app is compatible with iPhones running iOS 16 and newer, meaning people with older devices like the iPhone 8 and iPhone X can use the AI agent.
