A car caught fire outside the Municipal Swimming Pool of Lamia on Tuesday night (12/11).
As his driver told LamiaReport, he had just stopped to pick up his son from the swimming pool when he realized that the smoke coming out of the hood was not due to the temperature difference, but from flames that suddenly erupted from the engine.
He immediately rushed to leave it shouting to passers-by not to approach as the vehicle had a gas tank. Another vehicle that was parked right in front of the car that caught fire was also damaged by the fire.
Two patrol cars quickly arrived at the scene to stop traffic and two fire engines.
