iPad Pro was the best-selling model among Apple tablets in the 3rd quarter of 2024

Once again, the iPad Pro took up the majority of sales of Apple’s entire tablet line, accounting for almost 50% of sales in the third quarter of this year.

The data are from Consumer Intelligence Research Partners (CIRP) and relating to the American market. The firm also highlighted stability in sales, despite the general decline. Earlier this month, some firms demonstrated that Apple expanded its leadership in the tablet market very little during the period in question.

As you can see in the graph above, the iPad input it was the second most popular model, capturing 33% of the market. Already the iPad Air showed a significant decline compared to the same period last year, falling to 13% of sales.

Finally, the iPad mini saw a slight increase in market share, accounting for 9% of sales in the previous quarter.
