After the nomination of judges for the constitutional benches in the Supreme Court, an important meeting in the Supreme Court was held on November 6 in the chamber of Justice Aminuddin Khan, the meeting minutes of which were released.
The announcement of the meeting held on November 6 in Justice Aminuddin Khan’s chamber on the issue of formation of constitutional benches has been issued, according to which the issues of formation of benches and sending cases to constitutional benches were reviewed in the meeting.
Justice Aminuddin Khan was told that human rights cases including sub-clause one of article 184, sub-clause three of article 184 and article 186 are also pending.

It was decided in the meeting that color coding of cases under Article 191A will be done after the 26th Amendment.
Senior Research Officer Mazhar Ali Khan has been tasked to scrutinize the cases which fall under Article 199 and which are to be fixed for hearing before the Constitution Benches.
After scheduling the cases for hearing, seating of the benches, issuance of court roster and consultation with the other two senior members for the cases heard in the week, the next session will be scheduled later.
Registrar Salim Khan, Additional Registrar Judicial Nazr Abbas, Institution Officer Nazir Ahmed, Judicial Assistant Abdul Rahman and Judicial Assistant Mubasher Ahmed also participated in the meeting.

According to the meeting minutes, the November 6 meeting was adjourned due to non-availability of a committee member.
It should be noted that a three-member committee consisting of Justice Aminuddin Khan, Justice Jamal Khan Mandukhel and Justice Mohammad Ali Mazhar will form constitutional benches.
