→ Israel makes a humanitarian gesture in the Gaza Strip, not enough for NGOs
Israel announced the opening on Tuesday of a new crossing point for humanitarian aid in the Gaza Strip, just before a deadline set by the United States for increasing this aid, which NGOs still consider insufficient.
Washington claimed thatIsrael was not violating US law regarding humanitarian aid entering the territorybut called for further progress.
Statements denounced by the Palestinian Islamist movement Hamas which accused the United States of being complicit in a “genocidal war”.
For their part, the United Nations agency for Palestinian refugees (UNRWA) and eight international NGOs estimated that aid entering Gaza was still insufficient.

Amsterdam experienced another restless night. Several hundred young people gathered Monday evening in a neighborhood in the west of the city. A tram was set on fire and one person was injured by a pyrotechnic device.

In total, the Israeli attacks caused 3,243 dead and 14,134 injured in Lebanon according to the official count carried out this Monday.

“In my conversation with President Trump, I expressed how deeply honored I was to accept his nomination and my eagerness to secure the support of my colleagues in the United States Senate,” she said.
