Indonesian badminton women’s SINGLES, Putri Kusuma Wardani, emphasized her determination to go all out in the final of the 2024 BWF Super 300 Korea Masters tournament.
The women advanced to the final of the Korea Masters after defeating the Chinese Taipei Chiu Pin-Chian women’s singles with two straight games 21-13 and 21-13 in the semifinal match which was held in Iksan, South Korea, Saturday (9/11).
In the final match, Sunday (10/11), Women will face Chinese representative Han Qianxi, who defeated Japanese representative Tomoka Miyazaki 21-18, 21-8 in the last four.

“Tomorrow, in the final, I have to show my best, I have to be more tired, whether I want to win or lose, I want to go all out first,” said Putri in a written statement, quoted on Sunday (11/10).
In the semifinals, Putri tried to take over the game by speeding up the rhythm. He was satisfied with his performance because he was capable
block an opponent’s attack.
“Thank God for being able to return to the final without any injury. I am quite satisfied and quite happy with the results I was able to achieve today and the previous matches. Proud of myself to be strong and able to return to the game I have,” said Putri. .

“In the previous match, my opponent forced me to play a difficult rally, from there he could get points. But I tried to reduce it by speeding up the rhythm and taking the initiative to attack first,” he continued.
Putri admitted that she often worried too much about the opponents she would meet. This burdened him so he couldn’t play freely.
However, now, Putri wants to focus on performing optimally match after match.

“Previously, I thought too much about who my opponent would be in a tournament, even from far in advance, which made me feel a lot of burden,” said Putri.
“Now, I try to enjoy it by not wanting to know who my opponent is until it’s near time before I learn the game via video, apart from increasing my focus during practice. This makes me calmer,” he added.
