India’s leading music producer, rapper and singer Yoyo Honey Singh has revealed that he learned about Islam from religious sages and Sufis.
Recently Yoyo Honey Singh gave an exclusive interview to an Indian journalist where he openly discussed his Islamic teachings.
“I moved to Mohali in Punjab in the year 2007, I was not popular then, just an ordinary music producer whom no one knew,” said Honey Singh.
He said that after coming to Mohali, I got an opportunity to meet some religious people of Islam who gave me basic knowledge about Islam and then slowly I started to get interested in the knowledge of Islam because I had many questions in my mind. I wanted to know the answer.
The Indian singer said that I got a wide knowledge about Islam through those religious elders and Sufis. Learned about
Honey Singh said that I used to listen very attentively to the words of those elders who told me about the role of Jesus in the Holy Quran.
He said that I used to ask those elders why this is so. Or why did it happen? And he answered all my questions.
The singer said that when I got fame and money after the year 2012, instead of thanking God, I started following evil forces, which was the biggest mistake of my life.
