The University of Los Andes (ULA), Núcleo Rafael Rangel, was the scene of a transformative meeting on November 8, 2024 with the forum “Rethinking Education: Towards a common feeling in education.” Organized by the Center for Teacher Training and Update (CEFAD) and the Semiotic and Literary Research Laboratory (LISYL), this event was dedicated to rethinking current educational perspectives and fostering a space for enriching dialogue.
With a broad gathering of teachers, students and other professionals in the educational field, the forum addressed essential topics such as educational complexity, the integration of local knowledge, and the training of future committed citizens. Recognizing the challenges of an increasingly digitalized society, the speakers explored the influence of artificial intelligence in the educational field and the need to maintain a balance between technological innovation and pedagogical sensitivity.
